Many people have found it difficult to remove the sound from video for different reasons may they need to add their own sound. many have even use different video editors but all to no avail. i was once a victim of this until i found the solution.

1) HOW TO REMOVE SOUND FROM A MAC DEVICE: To remove the sound from a video on a mac device you will need to download and install a unique video editor with a user friendly interface called "iMovie application". this small video editor has great capabilities and for this method of removing the sound the app is equal to the task.

                               STEPS

1) Right click on the video inside the timeline of the app choose the detach option

2) The audio section will then split, just click on it and press the delete button

3) Finally save the video by pressing the command +E keys.

  HOW TO REMOVE SOUND FROM A VIDEO USING         ANDROID DEVICE

Removing sound from a video with an android device is much easier and faster just download "timbre app" from play store and open the app. Inside the app scroll down to look for the mute button then click on it, skip the gallery where you will see all the videos on your device. then select one, import it to the app then click on the mute button. A menu will pop up grant it permission then hit the save button.

 the video will save automatically in your gallery this time without audio(sound).
